There are 4 ports in Rhodes Town. 3 of them are located just outside the Old City. Rhodes Central Commercial/Tourist Port: serves domestic and international traffic including Cruise ships. Kolona Port: Which is on one side of the commercial port, serves mostly local traffic to other Dodecanese islands and the larger private yachts. Akandia Port: Located on the other side of the commercial port, serves cruise ships on high peak days & the larger ferries that run from Piraeus, Athens.
